Tariffs for other postal services

General Provisions

1. Tariffs for other postal services are used in all postal enterprises of the National postal provider (Azerpost SE, as well as the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic) providing postal services throughout Azerbaijan Republic.

2. In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Postal Communication”, other postal services include:

- Ordinary and registered wrappers weighing over 2 kg (domestic and international) ;

- Value-declared sendings (domestic and international);

- Special M bags (international);

- Heavyweight (over 10 kg.) ordinary parcels (domestic and international);

- Value-declared parcels (domestic and international);

- Fragile and bulky parcels (domestic and international);

- Postal money orders (domestic and international);

- Telegrams (domestic and international);

- Fax sendings (domestic and international);

- Private and additional services on postal items (domestic and international).

3. Postal enterprises (branches of Azerpocht SE) under certain conditions, have the right to discount prices up to 20% for corporate clients, not lowering the cost in terms of basic tariffs. The reduced tariffs are applied on the basis of special rules adopted by the National postal operator.

4. The cost of the forms used in rendering of postal services are provided in the prices for these services

5. Tariffs are set forth taking into consideration the value added tax (VAT) in accordance with the legislation of Azerbaijan Republic.

Price for posting parcel is calculated in accordance with stable tariff by means of adding tariff on complete and incomplete weight of parcel.

Examples for calculation:

a) Tariff for posting ordinary domestic surface parcel weighing 12.240 kg. - 2.30 +13.00 x0. 50 = 8.80 manat;

b) Tariff for posting ordinary domestic air parcel with declared price 90 manat, weighing 7.630 kg. - 2.30 +8.00 x0.80 +2.50 =11.20 manat;

c) çəkisi 5,360 kq olan kövrək adi daxili yerüstü bağlamanın göndərilmə haqqı – 2,30+6,00x0,50=5,30 manat;

d) Payment for posting 130 manat fragile domestic surface parcel with value declared and weighing 18. 570 kg. - 2.30 +19.00 x0.50 = 15.30.

Note: Full fee is charged if a parcel addressed to a soldier containing at least one of the guidelines specified in paragraph 3.1 (over 10 kg, declared price, fragile or large-scale). Favorable tariffs, provided in the universal postal services, are applied only for regular parcels up to 10kg sent to soldiers (with an undeclared value).
