The Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MCHT) announces a photo contest dedicated to the 6 December - professional holiday of workers of Communications and Information Technologies and 133rd anniversary of the establishment of telephone communications in Azerbaijan Republic
The aim of the contest
The aim of the contest is to inform the public about dynamic development of information and communication technologies sector in Azerbaijan, achievements in this area and large-scale activities implemented, encourage people to use the internet, new technologies, electronic solutions and services in their daily lives, and stimulate their participation in this process.

Anyone can participate in the contest.
Requirements relating to the photos to be submitted
1. The submitted photo should comply with one of the subjects.
2. The submitted photo should be in JPEG file format and be emailed to email@example.com. The photos should not be less than the size of images 2000х1500 pixel.
3. One person may submit a maximum of 3 photos. Photos whose copyrights are unknown should not be accepted. The person who submits photos to the contest should show his name, surname, address, ID card number and contact phone.
4. The contest begins on 20 October 2014 and ends on 20 November 2014.
The prize fund of the contest:
1st place- AZN1000
2nd place- AZN750
3rd place- AZN500
The photos will be evaluated by a professional jury determined by MCHT. Results of the contest will be published on the portal www.mincom.gov.az.
Winners will also be awarded a special diploma of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
